Psalm 126

Psalm 125

Psalm 124

These songs were likely sung during the three annual festival processions to Jerusalem (Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles). Psalm 124 gives thanks and praises to the LORD, who is on our side, for deliverance. Following are some reflections that may be beneficial to consider when meditating on this psalm: Verses 1-2 What effect does repeating the phrase "if it had not been the LORD who was on our side" have? Verses 3-7 What do these verses show me about God's deliverance? Verse 8 Our greatest deliverance is that of our souls from sin and death. How does this give us assurance that we can trust God to continue to help deliver us no matter what we face in the future? Psalm 123
